Second Youth Research Forum 2018

Youth are among the most important resources that state institutions, whether private, governmental or non-government need to invest in them in order to achieve an integrated and sustainable development. These institutions must study to channel the energies and creativities of the young people into productive ventures that serve and develop the society politically, culturally, socially and economically.

The idea of establishing a youth forum in Qatar aims at developing and highlighting the role of the society and the private sector in human development through education, establishment of universities, and promoting the culture of scientific research and the benefits of museums. The importance of this forum stems from the need to support scientific educational research culture and heritage as a condition to achieve Qatar Vision 2030 and the national development strategic plan 2018-2022 and to sustain the development. In this context, the forum aims at developing among youth the culture of scientific research and affirm their leadership roles in creating opportunities and progress within the framework of contemporary research and scientific methodologies and linking it to the needs of society.
